The military has been granted all areas of security, construction and public administration that correspond to civilians in Mexico.
By Francisco Rodriguez
The ignorance of its politicians is a lethal poison for any country. It is the indispensable condition that makes possible the ideological domination of any imbecile, all stages of strategic penetration, the assumption of any foreign standard as a standard of perfection, the ambition and dedication of the local political classes, without scales.
What has happened in Mexico is unprecedented. The intolerant, misogynistic deceivers, discriminators, and repressors of the opponents have been too obsequious and generous with the military and criminals.
The former have been given all areas of security, construction, and public administration that correspond to civilians.
While the latter are allowed to do and undo, extort, murder, kidnap, massacre without any legal consequences, at their leisure.
In five years of this frustrated six-year term, only whimsical flashy works have been executed, white elephants that we taxpayers will subsidize for decades and not a single work of collective benefit, in any area of national development, breaking all possible records of incompetence and abuse of the public budget, which is only used to drain people’s pockets and favor the income of protected people, family members, and countrymen.
The President’s family corruption is on the rise.
Andrés Manuel López Obrador has operated on impulse, on the occurrence, on the stimulus, like any Pavlov’s dog in an experimental laboratory.
But he has made monetary profit for himself and those close to him in all of this.
And meanwhile, family disintegration, misery, and unemployment, accompanied by the permanent economic, political, leadership, identity, legal, and judicial corruption, political parties, army, and collective security crisis, flourish in a political scenario without order, without legal dams…
…without functional or dignified institutions, where the law deprives the most advantaged, the strongest or the best-armed, the most corrupt or worst, the most unpunished.
We are in the hands of the mafia The “authority” does not have the slightest prestige or moral acceptance to direct, correct or lead because it has been absent and catatonic. Or simply, due to its manifest and proven complicity.
When it acts, it does so on the side of organized crime, real power interests, foreign companies, economic groups linked to the 4T, a caste of privileged people who have nothing to do with the common people, and whose monetary profits, of potentates and bureaucrats, escape to tax havens, sucking up national reserves.
They have condemned the country to failure; they have cornered it into the hands of the mafia, that kingdom where the rules are not imposed by the State but by criminal and drug trafficking organizations that monopolize all positions of power, at the federal, state, and municipal levels. There are no limits to predation and parallel crime.
What is happening in Mexico does not stand up to the slightest test of a sensible idea of government. Reality is dominated by extra-legal powers, pernicious influences, and unprecedented wildness in the struggle, not for the exercise of power, but for the persistent establishment of dynasties that continue to share patrimonialized power, for the benefit of a handful of ignorant vulture families.
Today we cannot envision on the political horizon at the height of incompetence neither a State of Law nor one with corporate features, nor authoritarian, nor populist, even if it were a leap to have them all together. We are immersed in institutional catatonia, dismantling command structures every day…
…disdaining the designs of popular projects, demolishing national cohesion, fueling the economic and political disintegration of all regions of the territory, pulverizing the productive lines that supported in the past some features of the minimal viability of this country. Mexico is the wasteland of politics and the kingdom of the abject.
Today Mexico sails aimlessly As if we were always talking about a commonplace, unfortunately, no one takes responsibility for the scandalous and dishonest decisions of the so-called government. Less so, there are valid and effective interlocutors for the solution of neither what is urgent, nor what is necessary, nor what is important.
The country, in some way, must be called, navigates aimlessly between internal brawls, minor political conflicts, daily scandals of government plunder at all levels of government, media shells about what is convenient for the distraction of public opinion…
…voracious distribution of lucrative loot, and an enormous catalog of absurdities, the product of a mediocre government that tries to disguise its inefficiency and ignorance with low-level distractions, of political morbidity, while behind the people’s backs, disastrous decisions are negotiated that daily undermine the general conditions of subsistence.
The economic genocide of the Cuatroteros has condemned more than ninety percent of the Mexican population to misery. It has irreversibly demolished the mobility of some intermediate groups, exasperated the working class, and fueled million-dollar avalanches of external migration and internal displacement. It has produced, involuntarily, a turn to the right. Finely, the donkey played the flute.
Objective: end the semi-dictatorship Therefore, what is at stake on June 2 is not just an election day. What is at stake is national sovereignty and control of natural resources — oil, mining, forests, gas, water, vital infrastructure –, increasing salaries, defending biodiversity…
…improve conditions in schools, hospitals, transportation, the viability of pensions, financing systems, industrial bases and plants, and workers’ savings. Support protests, the destruction of nature, prevent the commodification of life, and banish the plundering of four-timers, soldiers, and criminals.
Millions of Mexicans can go to the polls this June 2 with the aim of honoring the dead of this semi-dictatorship, celebrating life, and saving the country. They do not deserve that a small group of scoundrels insist on closing the door to democratic expression or, due to apathy and low citizen participation, dare to subtract and circumvent the will of the majority.
We are not a meek people, despite what those who have taken our heritage with a big spoon believe. We are part of a community of brave men and women deserving of a better destiny. In all regions of the country, it is urgent that a decision be made that truly favors the majorities.
Today, we have an organizational and resistance experience that was never known before. Don’t you believe?
Indications
From the presidential candidate who promised to return the Army to its barracks… from the one who promised that the country would grow economically at more than four percent annually… from the one who promised that there would be no gasoline prices… now comes a new increase in the price of fuel, through the increase in the Special Tax on Products and Services, better known by its acronym IEPS.
Now, as the President who is on his way out, AMLO denies it, but the fact is real. Because he needs money to continue paying electoral pensions, because he needs more money to finish his already inaugurated and elephantine works done at his whim, because he needs more money to try to lift the ailing campaign of his “corcholata” Claudia Sheinbaum who no’ No more, even though he presumes that he has already circled the national territory three times, without his own ideas, repeating only the refrains of his “opener”…
* * * A question runs through the political world: What is Marcelo Ebrard doing? Could it be that he himself is now plucking the leaves of the daisy to forever abandon the Morenoist ranks? Will he accept to be the MC candidate, with the blessing of López Obrador, to take votes away from the opposition Xóchitl Gálvez? What will he be, will he be?
* * * Twelve kidnapped people in Taxco, Guerrero, plus 31 migrants kidnapped in Reynosa, Tamaulipas, more… Crime is advancing uncontrollably in the country with more than 170,000 murdered so far in the six-year term and the massacres, the many massacres that are denied in the National Palace. * * * Only for the acquisition of the warehouse for the “farmaciotota” the federal government — that is, we, who pay taxes — will pay 2 billion pesos. Also add the cost of “all the medicines in the world” with which they say they will fill the now empty shelves.
* * * And that’s all for today. I hope that in 2024 you have great health, peace, harmony, prosperity and, as always, good graces and many, many days!
